Individual Therapy

Individual therapy offers a place to slow down, say the things you may not be saying anywhere else, and understand what’s happening beneath the surface.

You may arrive knowing exactly what you want to work on—or simply knowing that something doesn’t feel right anymore. We can start there.

How Individual Therapy Works

Individual therapy creates space to slow things down and notice what’s happening beneath the surface—not only what you’re thinking, but the emotions, relationships, and protective patterns that keep showing up.

Some sessions may focus on what is happening in your life right now. Others may explore how earlier experiences continue to shape the way you cope, relate, or respond when you feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or vulnerable.

The work is collaborative. I’ll listen closely, ask questions, reflect patterns, and help you make connections that can be difficult to see when you’re in the middle of them.

Together, we may work on:

  • Understanding recurring patterns

  • Making sense of emotional reactions

  • Building stronger boundaries

  • Navigating difficult relationships or transitions

  • Responding differently to stress and anxiety

  • Reconnecting with your own needs

  • Exploring how past experiences still affect the present

The goal isn’t simply to understand yourself better. It’s to create more choice in how you respond, relate, and move through your life.

You don’t have to know what to say.

Reaching out can feel vulnerable, especially when you’ve been carrying something quietly for a long time. Share only what feels comfortable—we can begin wherever you are.
